How to create your own custom print

Just 3 steps:

choose a product (→ configurator product overview) → create your own print design → add the configured product to the cart and place your order.

The online print configurator allows you to create your own print design for a selected product directly in your web browser. Your design can include a company logo, custom text, contact details, an image or other artwork.

The configurator is designed for promotional printing, corporate branding and custom-printed products. It allows you to prepare a design for a specific print area on the product and then order the configured product.

1. Choose a product

Choose the product you want to customise with your own print. The configurator is available for products for which a print design can be created online.

On the product page, select the required variant and quantity and open the configurator using the Configure button.

The dimensions and position of the print area vary depending on the product. The configurator therefore uses a print area corresponding to the selected product.

2. Create your print design online

You create the print design directly in the configurator. You can use one or more graphic and text elements.

Your design can include, for example:

  • a company logo,
  • custom text,
  • a company name,
  • a telephone number, email address or website,
  • an image,
  • promotional or informational artwork.

You can position, enlarge, reduce and arrange the uploaded elements within the available print area. Custom text can be created directly in the configurator and, depending on the available options, its font, size and other parameters can be adjusted.

As you make changes, a preview of the design is continuously displayed on the selected product.

Uploading a logo and artwork

You can upload your own logo or artwork directly from your computer or mobile device.

Vector artwork is particularly suitable for promotional printing because it can be resized to the required dimensions without loss of quality.

The configurator supports artwork files in the following formats:

PDF, SVG, AI, EPS, PNG a JPG.

If your logo is available in vector format, preferably use this file.

Raster images in PNG or JPG format can also be used. In this case, the file must have sufficient resolution for the required print size. Small images downloaded from websites may not be of sufficient quality for printing.

If the artwork file contains text, fonts in professionally prepared print files should ideally be converted to outlines. This prevents problems with missing fonts when the artwork is processed.

Detailed information on preparing artwork files

Custom text without an artwork file

You do not need to prepare an artwork file for text-only printing. You can enter the text directly in the configurator.

This can be used to create, for example, a company name, website address, telephone number, email address, name or short informational message.

3. Check your design and complete the order

Before completing the configuration, check in particular:

  • that all text and contact details are correct,
  • the selected logo or artwork,
  • the size of the individual elements,
  • their position within the print area,
  • the selected product variant,
  • the quantity ordered.

The preview in the configurator shows the arrangement of the individual elements on the product. Colours displayed on a monitor or screen may differ from the finished print depending on screen settings, the product material and the printing technology used.

Once the design is complete, add the configured product to the cart. The design remains linked to that product and you can then complete the order in the standard way.

Which logo file should I use?

If you have several versions of your company logo, preferably use the original vector file, such as PDF, SVG, AI or EPS.

If you only have a PNG or JPG, use the file with the highest available resolution. Enlarging a small raster image does not improve its actual quality.

Original company logo files are usually available from the graphic designer or company that created your corporate identity, website, business cards, catalogues or other printed materials.

What if I do not have a logo ready?

If you only want a text print, you do not need a logo or any other artwork file. You can create the required text directly in the configurator.

If you want to use a company logo but do not have a suitable artwork file, the available material can be assessed for suitability before it is processed for printing.
